Event_Editor writes:The Citizens for Mansfield Backyard Chickens will host an All About Eggs day at the North End Farmers Market on July 26th from Noon until 1pm.
This is a free public event!
The program will highlight the benefits of fresh local eggs with special guest Greg Brandes,
Director of Food Service and Chef for OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, giving a cooking demonstration and Deborah Mattix of BaaLiss farms highlighting the difference between factory and fresh eggs.
There will also be a raffle of a fabulous crocheted chicken ($25 value) and several half dozens of locally produced eggs along with other demonstrations regarding backyard chickens.
The North End Farmers Market is located at the Gateway Resource Center, 486 Springmill St, Mansfield, Ohio 44903.
