MelissaH0243 writes:Hosted by Frack FreeOhio and United Citizens Action Network (UCAN), Save the Wayne Fundraiser is an effort to help preserve and protect our public lands. The Wayne National Forest is under threat from the expansion of fossil fuel development due to the auctioning of land for hydraulic fracturing by the federal government.
The Bureau of Land Management is holding another auctioning of 1600 acres or 33 parcels of land in Wayne National Forest for fracking with an additional 38,000 acres potentially on the chopping block in the future. It is time to step up and lean in. While it is uncertain when fracking will begin, Ohio must organize and prepare a multi-faceted defense.
Show your support to protect and preserve our public lands and enjoy great entertainment too!
