MelissaH0243 writes:Reflecting Pond, written and directed by Bryan Gladden, is a social satire with an emphasis on exploring society's views on relationships and social norms and stereotypes.
The fish, like the audience, come to watch, comment, and make fun of the humans on the pier (i.e. the stage) rather than deal with own problems or recognize that they share the same issues. This is a collaborative effort between Ohio State Mansfield Theatre Program, Mid-Ohio Educational Talented and Gifted program, and The Alchemists. This Play was selected for performance at the Columbus Arts Festival by the Columbus Arts Council and the Columbus Arts Festival Selection Committee.
