We will certainly walk for exercise, but also be stopping as we desire to look at the natural beauty around us, be it an interesting tree, flower, or animal.
This walk is open for anyone to join. Anyone who loves the great outdoors, walking and Nature is welcome!
TYPE: Nature Walk| PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Paved sidewalks/walkways and grassy areas | DIFFICULTY: Easy to Moderate | DISTANCE: Aproximately 3-4 miles | TIME: Approximately 1 1/2 hours.
You can find us by entering the campus area from Lexington-Springmill road, and then turning right at the first stop sign you come to, which will take you into a parking lot (#9 for those who know the campus).
We leave on time (5:30), but if you are late you can look for us at the campus Athletic Field, where we usually head to first.
Come prepared for the weather and for walking around an open field on campus (as well as sidewalk and paved path other times). There may be wet ground there or damp grass. Bring rain gear if need be.
Thursday, October 12th
