DMI Walks with Downtown Mansfield Inc. and Just Walk Richland

Downtown Mansfield, Inc. and Just Walk Richland are excited to come together for the second of four DMI Walks in historic downtown Mansfield!


The walk will kick off at the Central Park Gazebo in Downtown Mansfield and will be led by Alan Wigton.

The second DMI Walk will focus on the Southeast quadrant of the area with a goal of reaching the Mansfield Cemetery. Participants will look at and discuss some of the symbolism in the monuments in the old section of downtown Mansfield and return to the Square.

TYPE: Downtown Walk
PACE: Conversational
TERRAIN: Paved sidewalks/walkways
DIFFICULTY: Moderate
DISTANCE: Aproximately 3 miles
TIME: Approximately 2 1/2 hours

This walk is open to anyone.

This walk will explore the southeast quadrant of the oldest part of the city, including the old Brewery District, the Great Spring and other lost, but not forgotten history.

Saturday, October 13th
10:00am-12:00pm
This walk will explore the Northwest quadrant of of the oldest part of the city, including a stop at the house at 5th and Walnut for an update on the renovations there.
