Galion Historical Society invites you to visit Brownella Cottage and Galion Historical Museum.




 

Tour this beautiful home built in 1887 and discover its interesting history. Featuring all of its original furnishings, the home of William and Ella Brown has a unique place in the history of Galion, Ohio.

Brownella Cottage is regularly open on Sundays, June through Labor Day.  Group or individual tours can be scheduled anytime throughout the year by appointment.

2018 Summer Tour Schedule is as follows:

June 17th, July 8th, August 5th, August 12th

The Galion History Museum will be open during the tours.


Tours are $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Students (6 to 17 yrs.), 5 yrs. and under are free.

Handicapped accessibility is limited in the cottage, but there are accessible public restrooms available.

Parking is free.

Lunches can be arranged as well. We can assist you in planning an enjoyable day in Galion, Ohio.
