It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Under the direction of Dauphne Maloney and music director Brian Nabors, the students of Mansfield Youth Theatre stink up the stage, ogre-style with the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical, Shrek the Musical.

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task – if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

Written by Alan Ayckbourn and Directed by Doug Wertz, this popular farce explores the lives of three men who all work for the same firm.

Here's the catch: one of the younger men is having an affair with the wife of the oldest man. Hiding this secret proves to be a challenge when the couples get together for dinner parties. Cover-ups become part of the fun as the lies--and the laughs--escalate.

The collection showcases 29 portraits of inspirational Black Female Leaders created throughout Black  History Month.

Ruthie is currently teaching portrait painting at the Mansfield Art Center, and will continue this spring with an intermediate   portrait painting and mixed media course. This collection will be displayed on the first floor through April 16th.

The 2017 Annual Regional High School Exhibition showcases the honest & unfiltered talent of the young aspiring artists from our region’s area High Schools.

This community centered exhibition provides a valuable incentive for the students by encouraging an appreciation for the arts and offers a stepping stone by showcasing their abilities.

The First Floor Gallery features an inspiring and unique collection of artwork created by the region’s educators.
