It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Under the direction of Dauphne Maloney and music director Brian Nabors, the students of Mansfield Youth Theatre stink up the stage, ogre-style with the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical, Shrek the Musical.

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task – if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

People who have spent time at camp know it is a place that can change your life. Camp Mowana encompasses a beautiful 183 acre setting with woods, streams, and the Fleming Falls waterfall. 

At their free day of camp they will offer tours of their facilities, campfires and S’mores, programs as well as games that all ages will enjoy. Come explore camp and they’ll be available to answer any questions. You can meet their staff, sing songs, hike through the woods, and witness why everyone loves camp. Sponsored by the Great Lakes Region Cat Fanciers' Association, we invite you to join us for our April Fools shenanigans at the Mid-Ohio Cat Fanciers Show to be held in Fairhaven Hall at the Richland Co. Fairgrounds!

Come see all the different breed of cats as they are judged, shop for goodies for your own cats, and have a bite to eat as food will be available.  You can also add to your family by adopting a cat.

When: April 1-2, 2017, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Where: Richland County Fairgrounds in Fairhaven Hall, 750 N Home Rd, Mansfield

Admission: $6.00 adults, $5.00 Seniors 62 and over, 4.00 children 6 and above.

Introducing a new “Pop-Up Exhibition” of Painting & Mixed Media by Mansfield artist, Ruthie Akuchie.

The collection showcases 29 portraits of inspirational Black Female Leaders created throughout Black  History Month.

Ruthie is currently teaching portrait painting at the Mansfield Art Center, and will continue this spring with an intermediate   portrait painting and mixed media course. This collection will be displayed on the first floor through April 16th.

The 2017 Annual Regional High School Exhibition showcases the honest & unfiltered talent of the young aspiring artists from our region’s area High Schools.

This community centered exhibition provides a valuable incentive for the students by encouraging an appreciation for the arts and offers a stepping stone by showcasing their abilities.

The First Floor Gallery features an inspiring and unique collection of artwork created by the region’s educators.
