Event #336
Title:2017 Spring Flower Show
Category:Everything Else
Location:Kingwood Center Gardens
Description:

Don't miss the 2017 Spring Flower Show!

Various Colorful Flower arrangements

What is a Flower Show?

The Spring Flower Show is a judged flower show open to the public. It is open to both adults and children to bring their best horticultural specimens and artistic designs for judging, or to just view and experience.

Each year a different theme is chosen in which the artistic design categories and staging follow. This year's theme is “Growing Memories at Kingwood Center”.

How do I know what to do?

A schedule (see below) is available that lists all of the different sections and classes for people to enter. Entry cards are available at Kingwood.  All entries are judged by accredited judges from Garden Clubs of Ohio, Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, and the Gardeners of America.

What can I learn from the Flower Show?

The Spring Flower Show has been held for over 50 years at Kingwood. This judged show creates a wonderful opportunity for the public to show off their gardening and artistic skills.  It is also a good way for visitors to see new plants and ideas, and to talk with area gardeners.
