Get your 4th of July weekend off to a good start by visiting Mansfield Lahm Regional Airport to enjoy planes, good food, classic cars and more.
The Mansfield Aviation Club (MAC) is pleased to announce that it will host a Fly-In (or drive to) Pancake Breakfast Plus on Saturday, July 1st at the Mansfield Lahm Airport pavilion. Breakfast will be served from 8 am to 11am, and shredded chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, Sloppy Joes & soft drinks from 11 am till 1 pm.
Weather permitting, in association with Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagles Program, MAC pilots will offer free airplane rides to youngsters between the ages of 8-17 (a parent or guardian is required to register). Registration will begin at 1130 on the north ramp adjacent to Subway with flights between 12-2 pm.
Local pilots will be encouraged to open their hangars to display their aircraft.
There will be an antique car show, a C-130 on static display, and possibly an F-16 fly by.
Free Admission and Free Parking.
Saturday, July 1st from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
